NEU / NEW Fairly soon I will publish a new book describing all possibilities on creating red coloured glazes in ceramics: ‘**[THE DEFIANT RED](http://www.thedefiantred.com/)** – a review of red colouredglazes’.
The book is written in English. It has 140 pages and will be published in paperback format. 19 Photographs in full colour show the various
possibilities of the red colours.
Besides the possibilities of iron, copper, gold, chromium-tin, chromium, nickel and uranium red colours emphasis is put on the details
of the development and application of cadmium selenium red colours in all its aspects. Both the so-called melted-in cadmium selenium glazes as
the pigmented red glazes are described. From all red colour-giving possibilities the history is described till the actual time.
